Zellia is a multitalented artist, poet, writer and storyteller who loves to laugh. Born and raised in Detroit, MI and currently residing in Carolina, Puerto Rico, she is adventurous and inquisitive in her approach to living and creating art. The poet inside Zee is inspired by her desire to encase and preserve memories, to remember and recirculate love and loving ideals and to illustrate truth and beauty as the perfect affinity.

With five chapters exactly, readers flow through an array of emotions and experiences as she details a fraction of life inside her view of it. Blossom, Re-Bloom, Petals, Seeds, Philodendron - each chapter uniquely grouping families of words, moments and memories from the writer's life. Poems are accompanied by original illustrations from her grandmother, multitalented artist and painter, Gwendolyn Apacanis.
